Four Decades,
Three Chapters
Anthony's career spans the private sector, professional associations, and not-for-profit governance — giving him a breadth of perspective that few consultants can match.
Corporate Leadership
Anthony spent a decade at Nortel Networks in senior management before rising to President of Avon Canada — a $250 million operation with over 1,000 personnel and full responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
During this period he also chaired the Direct Sellers Association of Canada and served on the boards of the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry & Fragrance Association and Canada's National Council of Financial Executives.
National Association Leadership
As President and CEO of CGA Canada, Anthony raised the organisation's profile and was the key architect of the landmark merger that united Canada's three major accounting bodies — one of the most significant structural changes in Canadian professional history.
He subsequently served as President and CEO of CPHR BC & Yukon and CPHR Canada, representing the HR profession at a national level.
Consulting & Governance
Through DelMar Consulting, Anthony now works directly with small businesses, NPOs, and boards across Canada — offering the kind of strategic, operational, and governance expertise that was previously only accessible to large organisations.
He holds a McGill University degree and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program.
Current & Past Directorships
Anthony has served on boards across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors — bringing the credibility of lived governance experience to every client engagement.
Qualifications & Designations
Anthony holds designations across accounting, human resources, and corporate governance — a combination that is genuinely rare at the executive level.
Anthony is also a Member of the Order of Canada — the country's highest civilian honour.
